Google AI Stops Exploitation of Critical SQLite Vulnerability

Google announced on Tuesday that its large language model (LLM)-assisted vulnerability discovery framework successfully identified a security flaw in the SQLite open-source database engine.

This critical discovery was made before the vulnerability could be exploited. The identified issue, a memory corruption flaw tracked as CVE-2025-6965, carries a CVSS score of 7.2 and affects all versions of the software released prior to 3.50.2.
